Just imagine. Every time one of your supporters makes a phone
call, boils the kettle or checks their email, you're raising money - and
they're saving money!
How do you raise money ?
It's simple. As a Community Fundraiser, all you have to do is tell your supporters
about this great new way of raising money. Then encourage them to call our Community
Fundraising Team on a Freephone (0800) number so no there is no charge to them.
The Community Fund Raising Team will explain all the benefits of using our services,
and we promise there will be no hard sell. And as most of our services have no minimum
term contract, your supporters can try them out risk-free!
Once your supporters have become customers, we will pay your cause up
to 5% of their monthly bill. We will continue to pay you each month
- for as long as they carry on using our services!
So if one of your supporters spends £100 per month on utilities (gas, electricity,
telephone, internet, mobile phone or shopping) your cause will receive up to £5 of
the spend as a cash income - and this continues every month !
Your chosen cause will therefore benefit from a long-lasting extra monthly income.
Becoming a Community Fundraiser in partnership with the Utility Warehouse is a new
way to generate a valuable extra monthly income for your chosen cause.
And you're saving money for your supporters at the same time.
How do you get started ?
As a new Community Fundraiser, your only financial commitment is a one-off £25 registration
fee, which is fully refundable when 12 of your supporters sign up as customers in
your first 90 days.
Most causes have more than 12 supporters who are directly or associated with the
activity so once only 12 people are signed up to become customers, your will get
your registration fee refunded
You will need to contact us and we will help you fill out an application form to
be a Community Fundraiser
For this registration fee, you will get a starter pack. We have shown examples of
the leaflets to give you an idea of what is included and how you can start to encourage
supporters to help you raise money

The starter pack contains a lot of information and ideas to help you get started
- and some materials you can use if you want to. Remember - all you need to do is
encourage your supporters to call our freephone number, and then we'll do the rest
- your cause then receives up to 5% of what they spend.
